Mule Deer

Due to the relatively mild winters of the past decade, Mule Deer populations in the Cariboo are thriving.  Every year many record class deer are taken in this region, and because of the area's extensive forest cover and low hunting pressure, a large number of bucks live out their lives and reach full trophy potential.  The lengthy season allows us to hunt deer early in the high country as well as take full advantage of the rut, when we catch these big boys off guard in search of hot does.
